The cost of a corporate video that involves on-location filming depends, among other things, on the number of days spent on location, the size of the crew, and post-production. Without a brief and a list of deliverables, a price quote does not allow for a proper comparison between two service offerings.
Factors That Affect the Budget
The number of locations, the people being filmed, the interviews, sound recording, editing, and variations all influence the scope of work to be planned. The quote must specify the preparation, filming, approvals, exports, and usage rights.
Compare equivalent scopes
Check what is included: script or running order, equipment, lighting, sound, editing, motion graphics, subtitles and adaptations. Assess a budget against these elements, not a general promise of commercial results.
